I Pray God Continue to Bless This Union
1. A relationship made and blessed by God.
My father, you know me above all else, you created me and you knew me in my mother's womb. You know me by name and nature, you have created me uniquely and I know that I am special. Bless our union, oh Lord.
God, I have made mistakes when it came to love. I have loved the wrong person and I have been hurt. I have placed my trust in my own judgment instead of looking to you, who is the author and finisher of my faith.
You created man (Adam), then you created woman (Eve) for him and you said it was good. This time, God, I want you to look at my relationship and say it is good.
Ephesians 5:23,24,32 For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands. This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church.
2. Be in union with God's will for your life.
Lord, you have compared your relationship with the church as a marriage, that says to me that marrying the right person is important and, God, I would rather be in your perfect will for my life than your permissive one.
I want someone who loves you above all else, who would serve as the high priest in our home, who when I submit to him I would not be led astray or taken advantage of. I want someone who hungers and thirsts after you, who is led by your spirit.

3. Know your value!
I know my value in Your eyes, I know that I am a rarity and treasured by you. I know your plans for my life are amazing.
I can see your hand every day orchestrating me. That is why I look to you and not to the world for love. In you, I am a complete being.
Ephesians 5:2 8 -29 In the same way, husbands ought to love their wives as they love their own bodies. For a man who loves his wife actually shows love for himself. No one hates his own body but feeds and cares for it, just as Christ cares for the church. And we are members of his body.
4. A Union solely based on God.
Father, you died so that I can live. You hung on that cross with me in mind and today I pray that you bring someone my way who will love me that way.
You will give them that love and devotion that I would be able to return. I pray against all works of the enemy all distractions that may come along.
Father, let me not look and wonder. But, when I get to know that person, let me just know that is the one you ordained and set apart for me.
Let him also know, Oh Lord, that I am here for him. Let us be perfect on all accounts for each other, like Rebekah was for Isaac and Ruth was for Boaz.
Grant me wisdom to be a support to his anointing, as he would be to mine. Let him be my guide and you be our light. Let our relationship be solely based on you. You be the foundation in our union, you be the covering and you be our all in all.

Colossians 3:14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.
5. A relationship blessed with true love.
Over everything, Abba Father, you give us that love for one another that would keep us together and keep us happy.
When trials come our way, we would overcome. God, you keep and protect the man you have for me. Guard his heart until the right time as you would have us together.
